About C.H.A.N.G.E.

In the CHANGE program, Chess and Community's Knights and Queens learn about the role and structure of their local government and become well versed in community policies. The students participate in community service and community building activities. The students gain integral knowledge regarding the structure of local government and the bureaucratic systems that will impact their lives. They are tasked with problem solving and developing real world solutions as agents of social change. We engage the youth in the following activities and workshops:
